Dudes. Today I am giving myself a big fat #FAIL! Seriously. I am working on a wonderful post for next week celebrating my favorite food in the world...DONUTS. I make donuts all the time and have never had a problem, but today I am crying into my mixing bowl because I have ruined two batches!!! How does someone manage to ruin two batches of donuts you ask? Well, it's a whole lotta not paying attention apparently. You all have such lovely photos every single week. Please tell me that you occasionally have a craft (or in this case baking) fail of your own. I need to commiserate with someone! Anyway, on to the lovely photos! This week a selected a nice mish-mash of my favorite projects to showcase. I hope that you will take a minute to check them out and maybe even pin one or two! Show + Tell Highlights Have I mentioned how inspired I've been by '80's Miami lately? Loooving it! … [Read More...]

Happy Show + Tell Wednesday (or maybe Tuesday night if you're really eager)!!! It's been a crazy couple of week's 'round these parts... We've finally completed our Snap 2014 sponsor reporting and we're busy gearing up for 2014. I am really excited about our plans for next year though...#offthehook #nolie If you follow my personal account over on Instagram, you might know that I've also been busier than expected this summer working on American Crafts purchase of We R Memory Keepers. I love the WRMK brand and I am so excited to be working with the brand. In celebration, I thought it might be fun to kick things off with an unscheduled Show + Tell WRMK giveaway. So fun! My very favorite WRMK tool is the envelope punch board. I use it all of the time to create my own sweet little envelopes - I even used it to create a fun advent calendar last Christmas. If you'd like … [Read More...]

Summer-Washi-Tape-Art

Hi SNAP friends!  I can't believe it's already July.  The other day I shared my 4th of July Mantel on my blog, but after the holiday is over I will be wanting some fun and fresh summer decor on my mantel. This Summer Washi Tape Art is going to be the perfect addition. If you've been reading my contributing posts for any length of time now you know how much I love creating decor out of things from around my home that I already have on hand.  Hey, if I can save money...that's awesome!  Especially when you switch up decor as much as I do.  This project is perfect, it cost me nothing since I already had everything to make it.  You probably do too! Supplies: - washi tape (bold & fun summer colors) - frame - white poster board - Cricut Explore cutting machine - glue stick or tape runner The first thing I did was to create my "Summer Love" cut out in Cricut Design Space using … [Read More...]

Martha Stewart Inspired Tomato Mozzarella Salad

Easy Five Ingredient Tomato Mozzarella Salad - The fresh, light ingredients make this the perfect summer salad!

Hey you guuuys! I am so excited to be sharing today's post. It's a little bit about Martha Stewart, donuts, a cook book my friends at Macy's and a really super-delicious tomato mozzarella salad - a salad inspired by Martha herself. If we're friends on social media (and I am sure we are, right?) you probably saw the slightly stalker-like posts I shared last week about my visit with Martha... Okay. So I wasn't really that intense (I hope), but I was very excited that Macy's sent out a copy of her latest book - Martha's American Food - and invited me to pop in for a visit to get it signed while she was in town. I have to be honest. I don't know that I was expecting all that much, after all I've met Martha at functions before and the exchange was just okay. Here's the thing...last Thursday I fell in love with Martha all over again. It started as a subtle romance … [Read More...]

Thanks a “hole” bunch donut printable

Thanks a hole bunch thank you tags

My oldest daughter turned 10 this month! We decided to throw her a doughnut themed party. We didn't know until the day of the party that it happened to be national doughnut day. I designed this doughnut printable for the party favors. You can CLICK HERE to download the printable for yourself. It's designed to be printed on a 4" x 6" photo paper. I uploaded the file to Walgreen's, and had them finished within an hour. There are 2 doughnuts per photo sheet, I cut out each doughnut and glued them to a bag of doughnuts. You could easily punch a hole in the doughnut & tie it with a ribbon if you wish. They say; "Thanks a "hole" bunch, you're sweet!" I wanted to put doughnut holes in the bags, but I couldn't find any. My daughter wanted these cute number balloons for her party. Since she was turning 10, I thought it would be cute to make the "0" into a doughnut. It … [Read More...]
