What’s in My Handbag: Beneath My Heart

It’s a triple treat today and I am featuring yet another of my favorite bloggers. Say hello to Traci, from Beneath My Heart.

beneath my heart blogGood heaven how I love this girl! Traci is just about everything that I believe a blogger should be. Her writing is absolutely honest and she has a knack for translating her personality into the written word.

I was thrilled that when I met her, she was absolutely everything I had imagined and then some…especially on the dance floor.

Enough chatter. I do want to share some fun projects from Traci’s site…

What’s in My Handbag: Beneath My Heart

Hey y’all! It’s Traci here!

I so excited to be here with you to share my innermost thoughts and desires. It all began when I was just a child…

What?!

I’m just supposed to share what is in my handbag?

Um…okay. That’s kind of weird, but what-ev.

{I guess we can go deep together some other time.}

So, here’s my handbag…

The animal print makes me feel all sassy and saucy.

Just kiddin’. Truth is, I buy about one purse a year. I usually don’t even switch out for the seasons. I usually carry a purse until it falls apart.

About a month ago, I had some Kohl’s cash AND a coupon and decided to break down and buy me a new purse. The one I was carrying had rips in it, so I figured it was about time.

I was thrilled to be able to get this purse {and a matching wallet} for $30!

I think that is a pretty darn good deal.

I totally forgot that I was going to be doing this handbag guest post, but the timing worked out perfectly.

Nothing fancy in my purse. Just the essentials.

1. wallet
2. business card holder {black and white polka-dot case}
3. makeup bag
4. chapstick
5. sunglasses
6. reading glasses {because my eye sight has gone down hill since I turned 40.}
7. Tic Tacs
8. earbuds
9. a pack of crumbled up crackers
10. hairspray
11. hair pick
12. a bandaid {as a mom of four boys, I can never have too many of these!}
13. ID badge {I substitute teach at my boys’ school.}
14. Checkbook
15. Sharpie pen and a flower pen {made by one of my students}
16. pack of gum
17. Germx
18. 4 pennies
19. gold bracelet
20. small bottle of lotion

Yikes! That list looks so long, but it really isn’t a lot. Smile

There are some things in that list that do not stay in my purse on a regular basis, but I was trying to keep it real and show you exactly what was in my purse when I took this picture.

There were 2 items missing. My phone and car keys. Those were laying somewhere around the house when I took my pictures.

So that’s it! That’s for letting me share “What’s in my Handbag!”

Come see me at my blog sometime!
