Q&A
Each week we try to come up with questions that will spark a conversation. Today’s topic allowed for so much spark we almost created a fire. We could have kept chatting for hours. If you missed today’s #SNAPit here is a small sample to keep you going until next week:
Q1-What information do you think is important on a great biz card? Why?
-
@homesdotcom- A1- Contact info especially your email address and your website. We need to know how to find you ;o) #snapit
-
@sweetrosestudio- I’ve included Pinterest on mine now too seeing as how it’s a big source of traffic. #snapit
Q2-What makes a business or blog logo POP? Do you have favorites?
-
@kariandmorgan- A1-When their logo (or brand) is front and center! It’s how I recognize your blog/business and a good design draws me in! #SNAPit
-
@laraellieg- A2- I find all my favorites at the grocery store on labels. Good inspiration in the Ketchup section. #SNAPit
Q3-Do you have a media kit? What information do you include? How often do you update it?
-
@taunitweets- Media kit. Branding, photo, contact info, FB/Twitter/Pinterest followers, subscriber numbers. #SNAPit
-
@sahans- (shameless promotion? no… But sometimes I have flashes of intelligence and really need to share) Media Kits don’t have to be all about numbers. Focus on what makes you stand out, special, or the best person to work with. #SNAPit
Q4-Do you keep biz cards and media kits with you? How important are they to you for networking with bloggers and brands?
-
@taunitweets- I like to share my card and follow up with details later. No one wants to be handed a ton of paper. #SNAPit
#SNAPit Next Week

Just curious how everyone puts their facebook and twitter info on their business cards? do you put the full link to your account or do you just put your name? Any info would be AMAZING!!
I’m still trying to get these done before SNAP!

Hi Vanessa! For my Twitter account I just have my Twitter name @sahans. I have seen FB fan pages listed in different ways. I personally like a link because it is easier to find.

Love this recap, I have had my new blog for 6 months now and have still not made any type of media to share for it. I should get on that like now.
