Craft Room Organization

In the last year as my websites and SNAP! Conference has grown, I have blown out of my regular office space. And, when I say "blown out," I mean I've got a disaster on my hands. In the next few weeks, I will be moving into a larger studio space to accommodate all of my crap awesome DIY and craft supplies. Though I could pack everything up and sort it out in the new space, it just makes more sense to move things in a more … [Read more...]

I spent a good portion of last week in Las Vegas enjoying the company of some long-time friends and attending the Summer 2013 Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Trade Show. We had a couple of full-days and resulting in fun plans that I cannot wait to tell you about! Of course, we did break for a little fun here and there including a trip to the Bellagio for their famous buffet dinner. I have to say, it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, I still returned home with my traditional cigarette smoke induced head cold that's got me a little behind. Boo! Despite my general post Las Vegas cold, … [Read more...]

So guess what? I took a bit of a blogging break for a couple of weeks. Maybe you noticed we didn't have a linky, maybe you didn't. I am a little scared that maybe you will not be here now that I am ready to share again, but I believe in practicing what I preach. Being a consistent (and generally frequent) poster is important, but you know what's more important? Listening to your heart and knowing what you can and just cannot do. So, I took a break. I missed you guys. I missed reading your posts. I loved just letting go and not thinking about the blog (mostly) for a couple of weeks. I might … [Read more...]
