Decorating Your Front Porch for Christmas

Lately I’ve been a bit obsessed decorating the front porch for Christmas. I love how festive and welcoming it makes a home feel, right from the start.
I have yet to actually implement any of these fabulous ideas on my own porch, but I’m definitely tucking all of these cheery inspirational photos away and taking notes for how I’d love our porch to look one year and I thought I’d share them with you too!

These first two porches are very traditional and I love the classic feel that they have, with the red and green. I also love the use of decor, like lanterns and simple ornaments. This look would great for almost any home!

The reason I love these next two front porch designs, are because they are more themed and show lots of personality! Garden and Coastal Christmas anyone!?
If you’re big on personal decor INSIDE your home, why not take it outside as well!

I think it’s important to take into account the proportions of your front porch space, when planning out how you’ll decorate. You always want to make sure that your decor will compliment the area you’re decorating, instead of overwhelming it.

What do you think? Are you drawn to one specific style or another? Have you started decorating your Christmas porch for this holiday season yet!? If so, we’d love to see it!
