One of our weekly goals for #SNAPit is to create an online environment that leads to engagement, sharing, learning, and of course a little fun. Our topics and questions each week are carefully chosen to be interesting and engaging . Thank’s to the support of the creative, craft, and DIY community our chats are proving to be one of the most popular in the genre. I am always happy to see the buzz our short 45 minute chats create each week. Give yourselves a little SNAP! for making today so amazing: (reporting the last 24 hours)
Today’s #SNAPit was all about cleaning house. Spring cleaning, organizing, DIY cleaners are just a few of the things we discussed. It is so nice to get ideas from others on how they keep their homes clean and organized. Some of the tips and tricks seemed like things any of us could easily implement into our daily lives. Which is so nice because who wants to spend their whole lives cleaning? I know that you are all dying to see what the amazing DIY cleaning experts had to say. I won’t make you wait any longer. Here is a sneak peek into today’s chat:
Q1-Do you “Spring Clean”? What areas of your home do you tackle?
@binksandbubble- A1: I try. When the weather gets nice I just get the itch to clean & organize! #SNAPit
@ourdiydiaries- Spring is when I’ll put my foot down and insist that we clear out some unneeded junk #SNAPit
Q2-What is the biggest problem area in your home? How do you keep it clean?
@mowpow08- The kids room…which overflows to the rest of the house…need a solution for toys #SNAPit
@leighdusek- Q2 Papers, mail, homework, medical bills, IEPs….it’s like a paper tornado in my home. I desperately need HELP! #SNAPit
Q3-What are some DIY and “home remedy” type solutions you have for cleaning?
@theidearoom- Oh…I do like to heat up a little bowl of water with little lemon juice in it to steam the microwave so it wipes out easily #snapit
@taunitweets- I love to use lemon kool aid in my dishwasher about once a month to clean it out. SO HELPFUL #snapit
Q4-What are some tips you have to keep your home clean and organized throughout the year?
@taraandrus- Q4- I keep all my cleaning products in a hanging shoe organizer in my laundry room so they don’t clutter under the sink #snapit
@jenjentrixie- A4 – each Sunday night we have a “10 minute Tidy” where everyone in the family runs around and gets the house clean. #snapit
