Home Improvement and Projects #SNAPit Recap

I want to give a huge SNAPPY thanks to our SNAP! Conference sponsor Homes.Com for joining us as today’s #SNAPit Twitter chat sponsor.  I can’t think of anyone better to discuss homes, home improvement, and projects with.  They are a regular fixture during our Twitter chats and we love their input.

Winner

We are so happy that Jacqui from Craftee McGee  is our Home.Com $50 Lowes gift card winner.  I hope that she posts what project or improvement that she starts on with the gift card.  I really can’t wait to see what she does.

Stats

Our #SNAPit Twitter chats are so much more than just numbers.  I love that each week we have a fabulous conversation and are able to share, grow, and learn.  However, we should all be proud of the amazing numbers that our 45 minute chats create.  Today was beyond awesome: (reporting the last 24 hours):

  • Tweets- 1,062
  • Impressions- 1,461,230
  • Audience- 66,419

Q&A

We couldn’t have a successful #SNAPit Twitter chat without questions to ignite your inner chatterbox.  I was so impressed with the projects and improvements everyone has done around their homes.  Not to mention the ones they have planned.  Here is just a tidbit of what you missed if you weren’t able to join today:

Q1-What home improvement projects have you done on your home?

  • @momUNblogger- Q1 we tiled the kitchen floor a couple years ago.  That was a learning experience. #SNAPit
  • @theidearoom- A1–We just redid our entire kitchen…whew! Can you say crazy? #snapit

Q2-If money were no issue, what improvements would you like to make on your home?

  • @myfolly- Q2. I would love to make an elaborate grilling area in the backyard #Snapit
  • @taunitweets- A2. Honestly? If money were no object, I would like to hop on @homesdotcom & find a new house! #SNAPit

Q3-Do you consider adding to your home’s value when deciding on what projects to tackle?

  • @733blog- A3- 100% yes.  Not ALWAYS the deciding factor though.  We plan on being here for 30 years, so it has to fit our needs too. #snapit
  • @Ninth_Street- Q3: No, my home is for me. Not for someone who may or may not own it in the future. #SNAPIt

Q4-What home projects do you have planned for 2012?

  • @LLLSummer- our house is not that old, so not doing too much to it #snapit
  • @GratefulHoops- Q4 redoing the upstairs kitchen and bath, painting the outside of the house, refinishing the porch, adding a fence… #SNAPit

#SNAPit Next Week

Don’t forget to join us next week, Thursday, April 5th, at 10:30 am (MT) for another #SNAPit Twitter chat.  I know we will all be “hoppy” chatting about all things Easter crafts and traditions.
