Homemade Fortune Cookies

Hi everyone! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co.  again.

I’m back to share a  fun recipe with you all today.

It’s time for the Chinese New Year!

I always love to do a little something to commemorate the new year just because it’s so much fun. This time I thought I would do something I have been putting off for years.

This year is the year of the horse! I decided that along with these Homemade Fortune Cookies I would make some Free Printable Fortunes for you all today too. Making fortune cookies really isn’t as hard as it looks. The batter is really simple & if you work in small batches of 2-3 at a time- it’s really quite easy to do.

I love how these turned out. They taste exactly like the ones you get with your take-out.

The kids & I had so much fun putting them together.

Homemade Fortune Cookies This recipe made 21 cookies, but I think I would have had close to 24 or more if my first couple were a bit thinner. It takes a little bit to get the hang of it the first couple cookies, but once you work out the thickness that works best they come together quite easily. 1. What a fun idea! My kids love fortune cookies and I think it would be so fun putting my own little fortunes inside :)

  2. I SOOO need to make these! My 7 year old loves fortune cookies but always gets bummed when the inside is just some cheesy saying and not a “fortune.” I will have tons of fun making custom ones for her. Thanks for sharing at the Inspiration Monday Party!
