Hi everyone! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. again.
I’m back to share a fun recipe with you all today.
It’s time for the Chinese New Year!
I always love to do a little something to commemorate the new year just because it’s so much fun. This time I thought I would do something I have been putting off for years.
Homemade Fortune Cookies
This year is the year of the horse! I decided that along with these Homemade Fortune Cookies I would make some Free Printable Fortunes for you all today too. Making fortune cookies really isn’t as hard as it looks. The batter is really simple & if you work in small batches of 2-3 at a time- it’s really quite easy to do.
I love how these turned out. They taste exactly like the ones you get with your take-out.
The kids & I had so much fun putting them together.
This recipe made 21 cookies, but I think I would have had close to 24 or more if my first couple were a bit thinner. It takes a little bit to get the hang of it the first couple cookies, but once you work out the thickness that works best they come together quite easily. [amd-zlrecipe-recipe:2]
I am sharing the free Year of the Horse printable fortunes on Kleinworth & Co. today.
Come on over to download & then make these fortune cookies for your family too.
Pick up the Free Printable Fortunes to add to your cookies on Kleinworth & Co.
