Jordan Valley Home and Garden Club

Curb appeal. It’s not just about selling your home, it’s about setting the tone and loving it!

Having said that, the curb appeal at my own home (outside of this pretty little clematis vine and a few flower pots) needs some help…Sigh. Please tell me some of you are in a similar situation. I can’t be alone, can I?

Anyway, my lack of curb appeal is just one of the reasons I’ve decided to join the Jordan Valley Home and Garden Club (membership is free).

The Jordan Valley Home and Garden Club was founded to provide learning opportunities specifically geared to do-it-yourself homeowners. RIGHT UP MY ALLEY!

AND, I am super-excited because the Club is kicking off the 2012 season with a little Summer Soiree and Garden Tour Jun 9, at 6 p.m. with a few of my SNAP! speaker favs.

Cassity (Remodelaholic) will be back in Utah with her husband Justin, Sausha (Sweet Pickins) will be on hand to talk furniture refinishing and Cynthia (Utah Garden Blogs) will be teaching a class on succulents – can’t wait to take it!

I missed EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of these ladies at SNAP! THIS IS MY CHANCE FOR REDEMPTION!

With all of the other friends in attendance, I think that this is going to be like a mini SNAP! reunion. You MUST join us! Tickets are available online and are a steal for all the classes being offered…

I know I will walk away inspired by this…

And this…

And ready to roll on some of my own projects.

I hope you will join me, but if you’re from out-of-state or you just can’t be there simply fan the Club’s Facebook page. Each month after the Club’s meeting, they will be posting a recap!

P.S. I didn’t even mention the fun giveaways? They have everything from a rug that was featured in Country Living Magazine to furniture from some of the area’s finest specialty shops.

This post was sponsored by the Jordan Valley Conservation Garden. All opinions are my own.

  1. Hi Tauni, thanks for such a great blog post! I’m really excited to be attending this event. The great thing is the club isn’t just about gardening, but DIY items for inside the home–how cool will it be to learn about color palettes for the walls in the home, or refurnishing furniture? I’m stoked! I hope to see you there!
