It’s Friday! Time for What’s in My Handbag. I am excited to welcome Myra, from My Blessed Life, to today’s installment.
I “met” Myra online probably more than two years ago. From the get go, I was super impressed with her genuine qualities and sincere friendliness. It was a joy to meet her in person (though I didn’t get near the amount of time with her I would have liked) this past summer while in Atlanta.
With fall finally here in full force, I am a bit obsessed. Take a peek at some of Myra’s projects with a bit of a fall emphasis…
1. Pumpkin Specimen Art – I love specimen art, but my favorite part of this are the awesome scrabble tiles.
2. How to Caulk a Perfectly Straight Line – such a simple fix, for such an annoying problem.
3. Broccoli Cheddar Soup – Oh how delicious this looks. I am totally trying it!
4. Pumpkin Gingerbread Trifle – I think I’ve shared our pumpkin obsession with you…
5. Fabric Pumpkins – the ruffles are to die for!
So many great projects over on Myra’s site, plus I am telling you, she’s just the kind of person you WANT to be friends with.
What’s in My Handbag – My Blessed Life
Hey y’all! I’m Myra from MyBlessedLife.net and I’m super excited to be here sharing what’s in my handbag. I’m enjoying this series so much. Thanks Tauni for having me over!
Three months ago, I ditched my handbag for a diaper bag…again. I love, love, love my Kalencom Diaper bag.
Here’s the fun stuff I found inside…well, besides the normal diaper bag gear.
1. Water bottle – I feel lost without it!
2. Sunglasses
3. Pens for me and colored pencils and crayons for my three year old.
4. My iPhone and headphones
5. Two lipglosses {obviously, I need to buy a new pink lip gloss}
6. Baby nail clippers – These are so handy!
7. Blog business cards
8. Young Living Essential Oils – I use them all the time!
9. Rescue Remedy – A wonderful, natural way to calm crazy nerves.
10. Arnicare – For bumps and bruises. I’m a klutz and my three year old is…ahem, active.
11. My ancient wallet
12. A bracelet. You never know when you might need some extra bling! ![]()
13. Homemade trail mix
14. Emergen-C – an easy immune booster or afternoon pick-me-up
*Not pictured – the pile of paper and other trash that I cleaned out. I’m convinced that trash reproduces like bunnies inside my bag.
I would love to connect with y’all on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+ or over on the blog!
Have a fabulous day! xoxo
Myra, thanks so much for participating in this series. It was so fun to have you! I love all the fun things you have inside your bag…

I never carried a big purse until I had my son last year, and now I can’t imagine not having a big purse/diaper bag. There’s something nice about always having what you need on hand. I totally relate with you on the reproducing trash! Where does it come from!?!
Yes, it’s so great having everything you need in one big bag. I love having lots of pockets too, so everything doesn’t just fall to the bottom.

Everything! I’m learning so much about Young Living essential oils lately. They are the best on the market. I use them for so many different things. Skin issues, digestive issues, thyroid issues, calming the baby etc. Diffusing them is my favorite use because it makes my house smell amazing while killing germs and other ickies.
I’m writing a post on them soon!
