Last week when I posted how to schedule posts on Facebook, I mentioned that I schedule content on a variety of channels. It saves me! Today I am going to share how to schedule pins on Pinterest.
I am looking forward to the day that Pinterest offers an internal scheduling option, but in the meantime I am using an app called Pingraphy.
You can sign up for a Pingraphy account without fees, an invitation, or any waiting at all. You simply need the email address and password that you use on your Pinterest account.
It’s super simple to install the app on your computer.
All you have to do is drag and drop the Pingraphy bookmarklet to your tool bar and then you’re all set to schedule pins from any website.
Click the Pingraphy tool and then select from the pinnable images.
Once you’ve selected an image, click next in the upper right. You will be taken to the scheduling page.
You will be able to select the board you want to post to and provide a description for the pin just like you normally would.
By clicking on the schedule button, you will be able to select the date and time you’d like to schedule your pins.
That’s it. You’re done.
Once you’ve finished, you will be able to view your scheduled pins.
I love being able to schedule some things in advance. What’s your favorite time management tool?

Great tip Tauni. I am loving and pinning it.
Ok, so why would you want to scheule Pins? Isn’t the point of pinning to remember ideas? If you’re almost pinning, why wait to have it posted? This doesn’t make sense to me…
Dana, There are a couple of reasons that I like to schedule my pins on Pinterest. First when I am online, I tend to pin a whole lot at once rather than pins here and there throughout the day. That sort of turns some followers off and then end up unfollowing as a result. By scheduling pins throughout the day it’s a little less intense. In addition, sometimes I really want to maximize the number of people that will see my pin. I don’t want to pin it in the middle of the night…I want to schedule it in the morning or something. Does that make sense?

Such a fabulous tip!! Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for sharing this tool.
I live in Israel and I use Pinterest to bring traffic to my site.
Because of the differences of time I need to stay a wake all night and I can’t do that so until now I pinned at any time but now I will use your tool.
By the way I pinned this article to my Board “Tips for Bloggers”.

Hi Tauni,
I’ve tweeted a link to this post & Pingraphy; however, my concern is that this asks for your account details on Pinterest – it doesn’t make any notifications WRT privacy & how the site intends to use the user data, which concerns me. In addition, I use Pinterest by logging in with either facebook or twitter. Do you know of a work-around for this? It’s unfortunate that Pingraphy’s site is very thin on the ground when it comes to their data protection policy & provising more information about the service.
If as a registered user, you might be able to provide more information, then I’d really appreciate it. I hope that Hootsuite offers this facility at some point soon, as we’ve discussed previously, this service certainly aids efficiency!

BTW, this is an interesting follow-on from the scheduling of facebook posts.
Sorry, forgot to add that you might find it useful to follow my twitter account, as I pass on interesting articles relating to WordPress & blogging generally that I find on my surfing journeys. Your followers here might also find it useful, as I tweet stuff relating to bloggers & website owners/develops at all levels. BTW, if you’d reccommend me, I’d love that! hehe!
It’s amazing how many extra followers I’ve gained since I started tweeting about social media; which has been encouraging. I tend to tweet anything that catches my eye, like a record of my reading, which I’ve found immensely useful to refer to later.
I’m in the process of establishing a self-hosted WordPress blog, which will be picking up steam nest week, once I get a new computer. I can’t wait!
TTFN,
