You know what I really love? I love belonging to a wonderful community full of clever, creative, makers and do-it-yourselfers that really love one another and have a sincere desire to be good.
Two of our wonderful SNAP! team members, Mique and Jess, have brought together some serious talent to stock the virtual shelves of Shop for Sharlie – an online pattern shop to benefit a beautiful, brave young mother, who’s in desperate need of a double lung and heart transplant.
Meet Sharlie: I haven’t met Sharlie, but here’s what I can tell you. She’s been a wonderful blessing the lives of two people I adore. She has great taste in little boy names – Harrison (the same as my littlest Mr.). I read three posts on her blog and had to stop because I had tears in my eyes.
She’s for real people.
A double lung and heart transplant. You want to do something for this beautiful woman.
So here’s the deal…
I would love to have you pop over and purchase a few lovely things from the pattern shop – they’re so inexpensive. I am in love with this, this, this, and I need one of each of these. (Ohhh and let me know what you get so that we can compare notes and have a little craft along).
BUT let’s be honest even when times are good and you want to help out, not everyone can afford to purchase all of THAT, right? Well, you can STILL help!
Spread the word about on about Shop for Sharlie. Share information about the shop on your blogs, on your Facebook and on Twitter.
If you have a wonderful pattern you would like to share for purchase and download in the shop, email it to firstname.lastname@example.org (and then let me know so I can add it to my growing list of purchases).
If you are interested in other options check out Jess’ post.
And since I know you will all do whatever you can…Thank you. Sincerely. From the bottom of my heart.
