We had a super busy week…Every hours was chock full.
We spent some time with cousins…
We visited Park City to see the amazing fall leaves…
And watched a little ski jump practice…
I was able to attend a sneak peek event for a new sporting goods store, named Scheels, that’s opening in Utah later this month…
It’s an amazingly huge store with everything you could ever need and then some, including a full scale ferris wheel. I think the boys will most definitely enjoy it.
We’re still working on the house…We’re taking a minor break from the laundry room (while we figure out exactly what we want to do) to remove about 60 years of wallpaper – that’s multiple layers folks.
I will be sharing some wallpaper removal tips and tricks soon…
I am actually hoping to catch up and get several posts done over the next few days…I think I mentioned I have had some health issues. It turns out I needed to have surgery. I am all laid up recovering this week. Time in bed, means time for editing photos, etc.!
Enough about my week…Let’s take a look at some of the projects that you’ve been working on.
Show and Tell Highlights
This DIY Rustic Growth Chart, from Design, Dining and Diapers is stunning. Looks like something right out of a magazine.
Speaking of chevron, check out this adorable Chevron Necklace, from The Scrap Shoppe.
Although I love chevron patterns, I am getting just a tiny bit tired of it. I am super glad other traditional patterns have made their way “back” as well. Take for instance the awesome circle pattern in these DIY Stenciled Curtains from The Cards We Drew.
Another trend I love when done right is ombre. I love these DIY Ombre Sea Glass Cups, from Laquer and Linen.
We’ve been doing a whole lot of football partying around here. This Spinach Artichoke Dip, from Cookin Food, looks pretty amazing.
Football is one of my favorite things about fall. One of the other? Pumpkin. I am dying to try these Frosted Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, from Wait Til Your Father Gets Home.
I love a good DIY beauty treatment. I am really interested in trying this DIY Tropical Facial Scrub, from Blissful 55. Sounds refreshing!
