Show and Tell Linky No. 17

Wow. Part of me feels like I ran a marathon this week, part of me feels like I haven’t done a darn thing!

The early part of the week was spent making sure ticket sales for SNAP! Conference were all in order.

I can’t tell you how incredibly honored/grateful/amazed I felt watching the tickets go from “Not Started” to “Sold Out” to “Wait List.” We’ve now got over 100 people on the wait list and will do everything we can to free up as many more tickets as possible.

I checked into the hospital later that day for surgery. Who likes surgery? I sure don’t, but I am happy that my doctor was able to remove a rather large growth from my uterus, along with repairing some pretty heavy scaring.

The surgery left me pretty darn helpless and a whole lot bored. I have literally spent the remainder of the week firmly planted on my couch. I probably looked a little like this…

Jersey actually went to stay with my parents for a few days and this is how she looked when she came home…Lazy girl. I am glad to have her back though!

  17. Wow! I can’t believe all you’ve gotten done after your surgery. I had similar surgery quite some time ago. Not fun. Why is it when dogs come back home after a visit to where ever, they’re always so pooped?! I think they’re a bit stressed when they’re not at home and they’re just chillin and happy to be back on solid ground.

I posted about our pups this week. It’s a bit touching, but also might bring a smile to your face.

    Hope you’re 100% soon!

  18. Glad to hear you are on the mend. I’m still amazed you did all of that in one day. Wishing you the best with further recovery :)
