I blame this post on Kari. Not all that long ago she posted about this:
And then she bought it.
And I was jealous. I wanted one for my own.
Guess what?! I got one…
Which has kicked off a whole new project because I decided it needed a place of honor and I am now re-doing my work space. Is this normal?
Anyway, I digress…Guess what?! I’ve got one of these beauties for you!
The machine features include:
- A heavy duty metal frame, like the antiques
- 24 built in stitches
- An automatic needle threader
- A stitch length display
- Three LED lights to help you see your work better
- A presser foot sensor
- A drop in bobbin so you don’t have to pull the bobbin thread up before you start sewing (love this!)
- 14.7 inches of sewing space
- Odds of winning are based on number of entries.
- Winner chosen at random using Raffelcopter.
- This giveaway begins: 5/9/2012 and runs through 5/14/2012.
- You must be a 18 years or older and live in the United States to be eligible to win this prize.
- Prize will be shipped by company.

Oh this machine is SO CUTE!!!! I LOVE all things retro. This machine reminds me so much of my grandmother. I would sit and watch her sew for hours on end. Her machine looked similar to this one. Such wonderful memories. And I have to say I love that her ‘sewing gene’ passed onto myself.
Tauni…….you made me laugh! Its perfectly normal what your doing with your room. Or atleast to us creative types it is. Interior decorators claim you first should find your *1* inspiration piece and build your room around it. So…there you go
Lisa, Honestly? I took it out of the box to admire it and then put it away. My old sewing machine was stored in the closet. This one needs a place of honor. It’s that pretty.

I would love to make my girls and myself matching Church skirts. That would be my first project. Love!
I KNEW I was going to win this machine at SNAP the Conference. There was no doubt in my mind that I would win this machine. I know the universe loves me and wants me to have this machine. I was genuinely surprised to hear some one else’s name called. Now, it’s starting to make more sense. The universe is giving me another chance to win.
My mother has her mother’s 1940′s Black Singer machine. It looks SO MUCH like this machine. That’s why I NEED this machine. I don’t need many things, but I NEED this.

What a great machine. I wish I had my grandmothers original that looks like this. My Mom asked do you want her sewing machine and I said no. I can’t believe it, NO, I said no.
