I know you’re going to want to check out what’s in side the handbag of Kari, from Ucreate, and I am so excited that she was willing to share a little bit of her life with us today for the What’s in My Handbag series.
Kari is one of the first bloggers I followed. She has an eye for great crafts and I have been inspired by many a project on her site over the years…In fact, it’s how I “met” my good friend Char.
She’s so generous with her features, I don’t think everyone realizes she’s quite an amazing creative in her own right. I thought I would share a few of Kari’s great projects with you today…
1. Mini Pallet Decor – anything mini is cute, especially when it’s one of the season’s hottest trends.
2. Library Tote – I am a big fan of the library and these totes (she churned out a bunch) are absolutely amazing.
3. Houndstooth Quilt – Okay. Not only is this quilt stunning, but I was floored when Kari offered it up in an auction to help another (she’s that wonderful).
4. Love Pillow – beause I LOVE this technique

What’s in My Handbag
First off, I must really like Tauni to show you all what’s inside my bag! I’m quite the personal {and sometimes shy} person and even my kids and husband bring me my purse if they need anything. It’s off limits!
The older I get, the more I love handbags! I love to rotate them and buy a new one every season.
Here’s my current favorite…
…it has tons of pockets, a padded area for my kindle or laptop, and I just love it!
I dumped my purse on the table and thought about putting cute things in the pile really fast, or taking out the empty candy wrappers and junk, but I didn’t. So it’s not exciting, but it’s real!
Lalaloopsy Activity Book {don’t get me started about the dolls all around the house}
Loose Change
Pair of Earrings {I take them off right when I get in the car}
Advil bottle
Empty candy wrappers {peanut M&M’s are my fave}
Sponge Paint Brush {don’t ask}
Lip gloss
Wallet
Tissue
Old Gumball {we always buy them when we go to the mall}
Hair Elastic
My cousins wedding program {she was just married last week}
Wait. I have to show you the back!
My little 6 year old daughter decided to grab a pen and write “MOM” on my purse. I asked her why in the world she would do that and started getting upset with her until she said, “but I didn’t want you to lose it.”
How could I be mad at that? I write her name on her backpacks so she won’t lose them, and she thought she was doing me a favor. Now I treasure this purse!
We’ll see if it’s cute when she’s an adult and I write on her purse though. lol
