You’re So Invited…

One of my VERY FAVORITE things about blogging is the people you meet…

I know that some of you probably met Cheryl Najafi at SNAP! last month (if you grabbed a photo with her, pop over to our Facebook page and upload it so I can see), but many of you are probably meeting her for the first time right here, right now.

Cheryl’s idea siteĀ is chock full of amazingly great party and entertaining ideas, but what really drew me in were her comments about calm, relaxed events. A stress free event? Sign me up! Anyone with me on this one?

I’ve enjoyed getting to know Cheryl a bit and learning more about “Cheryl Style.” I hope you will take a minute to check out her site. For all you Pinterest lovers, she recently designed her site with a focus on IMAGES. You will LOVE it!

A couple of weeks ago, I received a package from Cheryl in the mail – an advance copy of her brand spanking new book You’re So Invited: Panic Less, Play More, and Get Your Party On!

I may love the digital world, but I am still a sucker for a beautiful book. This one’s a gorgeous hardback book with THE MOST beautiful photos. Seriously. Love.

There are some fabulous party ideas that would work well for boys, which I always enjoy…Especially when it has anything to do with PIRATES!

Even better?

Oh my gosh. She wrote the most lovely note inside. So generous. I feel so lucky!

The book is great, but if you don’t want to take my word for it just check it out…In just days, Cheryl is already topping the Amazon bestseller list.

Cheryl is leaving Arizona and embarking on a month long book tour that will take her all over the country. I am excited to follow her travels via Twitter and Facebook.

Do you attend author book signings? I’ve always loved them, but I must admit prior to blogging most of the book signings I went to were with children’s authors. As I’ve made connections (and friends) online, I’ve slowly participated in more and more.

  1. So sad Cheryl will not be visiting San Francisco. Maybe a date will be added later. Her book is amazing and most certainly one I want on my bookshelf.
