Getting ready to celebrate ghouls, goblins, witches and warlocks? Don’t miss this download and print Witches Tea Halloween Party Invitation.
Fall might be my favorite time of year. The weather has cooled off, but it’s still warm enough to go for walks and enjoy the beautiful color that abounds. PLUS, it’s FOOTBALLPUMPKINSPICEHALLOWEENSEASON!!! I’ve transitioned from fall football right into Halloween decor. My Halloween print designs went up in the house a couple of weeks ago, along with this fun 3-D witches cauldron art. With the house all decorated, it’s time to schedule a party! This year I am celebrating Halloween with a witches tea.
I made up a witches tea Halloween party invitation to take around to the neighbors and I’d share the printable and instructions with you so that you can make your own!
Witches Tea Halloween Party Invitation
To recreate this project you will need:
Witches Tea Halloween Party Invitation Download
White Permanent Marker
Printer (or a trip to your local print shop)
10″ Doilies (purchase online or cut on black paper with your Silhouette)
Black and White Baker’s Twine
Small Tags (purchase online or cut on orange paper with your Silhouette)
Print the witches tea Halloween party invitations. Most of the time I print my small items at home, but with all the black ink used in this invitation I knew that the quality would be better if I had it printed at a photo processing center. I had the invitation printed as a 5×7″ on matte photo paper at my local Costco (cheap and convenient). Use a white galaxy marker (or any white permanent marker) to print details and customize for your party.
Once the invitations are printed and filled in they can be placed in an envelope for distribution, but I wanted to take things just a step further.
Embellish the witches tea Halloween party invites with simple paper and string. These 10″ doilies can easily be cut out of 12″ black scrapbook paper on a Silhouette (they have some great Halloween-themed doilies available. If you don’t have the time to weed the doilies, you can also purchase them fairly inexpensively online.
Place the doily flat and center the printed invitation on the doily. Fold edges of the doily over to the center. Once you have the folds where you want them, glue the printed invite down.
Tie the doily together with a small piece of black and white baker’s twine.
I hand delivered most of my invitations, so they didn’t need an envelope. However, this print fits perfectly in a 5×7″ envelope like this one.
I can’t wait to share photos from my witches tea party with you!
